Due to the advanced nature of the shoot ing platform being demonstrated\, this course is designed for a student po ssessing an above-average proficiency with weapons handling\, retention\, and marksmanship.\n\nEquipment Needed:\n\n Reliable pistol w/three magazi nes.\n Reliable holster\n Eye and ear protection\n Baseball-style cap\n 100 rounds of  pistol ammunition\n A sturdy belt\n Magazine pouch.\n Appropriate BDU range clothing\, including inclement weather gear.\n\nCo urse duration: 1 day classes (Total of 8 hours)\n\nThe weapon must be re liable and  fully functional\, have all safety devices\, and have no modi fications that could harm other students or instructors.  Unsafe weapons will not be allowed on the range.\n\nHolsters must be on the belt\, correc tly fit the weapon\, completely cover the trigger guard\, remain open when the weapon is removed\, not allow the weapon to cover the shooter’s bod y\, and not have a trigger guard retention device.  No thigh rigs\, cross -draw\, or ankle holsters etc.\n\nNo live ammunition will be allowed in th e classroom.\n\nNo firearms will be allowed into the classroom\, until the y have been inspected\, chamber flagged\, and identified as safe.  All fi rearms will again be inspected prior to any drills that take place in the classroom.\n\nFree bunkhouse accommodations available for those traveling from out of town.
