SUMMARY:Personal Protection Outside the Home
DESCRIPTION:Participants must have completed Personal Protection In the Hom
 e course. For those needing this course it is available on October 18\, 20
 25.  This course broadens the knowledge\, skills and attitude necessary f
 or avoiding a dangerous confrontation and the safe effective use of a hand
 gun for protection when outside the home. For a full description click her
 e.\n\nNRA's Personal Protection Outside the Home (level 1) is a 9 hour cou
 rse and the advanced level is another 5 hours (which is required for instr
 uctors). We will review fundamentals of safe gun handling\, proper mindset
  and presentation from concealment. This course also includes: presentatio
 n and movement\, point shooting\, shooting from cover and concealment\, in
 stinctive shooting\, low light shooting\, engaging multiple targets and on
 e-handed shooting.\n\nParticipants must bring:\n\n 	Handgun with strong si
 de holster\,\n 	a minimum of 250 rounds of ammo\,\n 	eye and ear protectio
 n\, knee pads\,\n 	2 or more magazines\,\n 	concealment garment\n 	and cer
 tification of completion of NRA's Personal Protection Inside the Home cour
 se.\n 	Refreshments\, Friday supper and Saturday lunch will be provided.\n
 \nWe will start promptly at 6:00 pm on Friday evening and resume at 8:00 a
 m Saturday morning.\n\nFree on-site bunkhouse accommodations are available
  for this class.  Please indicate that you would like to reserve a room i
