The Pistol Instructor Training begins with our NRA Basic Instructor T raining class\, then the Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Course\, and th en the Pistol Instructor Training.  These 3 classes together form the req uired course for NRA Pistol Instructor certification. (You are not conside red an NRA Certified Instructor until the NRA Training Department processe s your application and issues your instructor credentials.)  This package includes the Basic Instructor Training (BIT)\, the Basics of Pistol Shoot ing Student Course and the Pistol Instructor Training so no other courses will be required to obtain your NRA Pistol Instructor Credentials after pa ssing this course. You have the option to complete the NRA Online Blended Learning course prior to class so you will be familiar with the material y our blended learning students will be getting before coming to you.  If y ou want a coupon for the online course\, please include it with your check out below.  (This will save you approximately $35 compared to buying it o nline directly.)\n\nNRA Pistol Instructor certification is a requirement for becoming a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) Instructor in Nebraska\, Io wa\, Colorado\, Missouri\, and many other states. Remember that the indivi dual states decide all matters relating to their CHP programs including wh ether\, when\, and to whom they issue Instructor certificates. You must ap ply directly to your state and meet their requirements for certification as a CHP instructor.\n\nThe Training Counselor (Justin Grusing) for this course has been a Nebraska Concealed Carry instructor for several years so if you are taking this class to prepare for becoming a concealed carry in structor you will be able to get many of your questions answered to make the journey much smoother.\n\nThis is the first and second part of the thr ee required courses to become a NRA Pistol Instructor. You must successful ly complete the Basic Instructor Training and the Basic Pistol student co urse as well as the prequalification shooting drills prior to attending th e Pistol Instructor Training on 1/12/24.  Your lunch and snack will be in cluded.  We also have on-site accommodations for those traveling from out of town at no additional charge.\n\nThe instructor qualification will be done the prior Saturday as part of the BIT and student course.
