DESCRIPTION:NRA Range Safety Officer Course\nThis course is approximately n
 ine hours long.  Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and res
 ponsibilities of an RSO\; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\; ran
 ge inspection\; range rules\; range briefings\; emergency procedures\; and
  firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate w
 ill receive an RSO Student Study Guide\, a Basic Firearm Training Program 
 brochure\, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure\, an Instructor Application/Co
 urse Evaluation form.\n\nNRA Range Safety Officers possess the knowledge\,
  skills\, and attitude essential to organizing\, conducting\, and supervis
 ing safe shooting activities and range operations indoors and outdoors.\n\
 nThe NRA developed its program in response to the demand for a nationally-
 recognized Range Safety Officer ("RSO") certification. Our class and the c
 ertification will be especially valuable to firearms instructors.\n\nPleas
 e bring a sack lunch.  We will have a working lunch.\n\nThere are no prer
 equisites for this course.  All materials will be provided.\n\nCredential
 ing Fees:\n\nFirst time Non NRA Member instructors\, Coaches\, and Range S
 afety Officers pay a flat credentialing fee of $60 for a 2 year term. Addi
 tional ratings can be added at a rate of $30 per rating and renewals are $
 60 for a 2 year term regardless of how many ratings are being renewed.\n\n
 ** NRA Members credentialing fees are $35 for a 2 year term and additional
  ratings can be added at $15 per rating.\n\n&nbsp\;
