DESCRIPTION:NRA Range Safety Officer Course\nThis course is approximately n
 ine hours long.  Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and res
 ponsibilities of an RSO\; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\; ran
 ge inspection\; range rules\; range briefings\; emergency procedures\; and
  firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate w
 ill receive an RSO Student Study Guide\, a Basic Firearm Training Program 
 brochure\, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure\, an Instructor Application/Co
 urse Evaluation form.\n\nNRA Range Safety Officers possess the knowledge\,
  skills\, and attitude essential to organizing\, conducting\, and supervis
 ing safe shooting activities and range operations indoors and outdoors.\n\
 nThe NRA developed its program in response to the demand for a nationally-
 recognized Range Safety Officer ("RSO") certification. Our class and the c
 ertification will be especially valuable to firearms instructors.\n\nLunch
  will be provided.  Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictio
 ns and we will do our best to accommodate you.\n\nThere are no prerequisit
 es for this course.  All materials will be provided.\n\nIf you are intere
 sted in becoming a Chief Range Safety Officer\, please register for the CR
 SO class on 9/28/25 and select the appropriate options there.\n\nCredentia
 ling Fees:\n\nFirst time Non NRA Member instructors\, Coaches\, and Range 
 Safety Officers pay a flat credentialing fee of $60 for a 2 year term. Add
 itional ratings can be added at a rate of $30 per rating and renewals are 
 $60 for a 2 year term regardless of how many ratings are being renewed.\n\
 n** NRA Members credentialing fees are $35 for a 2 year term and additiona
 l ratings can be added at $15 per rating.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nRefund Policy
