DESCRIPTION:NRA Range Safety Officer Course\nThis course is approximately n
 ine hours long.  Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and res
 ponsibilities of an RSO\; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\; ran
 ge inspection\; range rules\; range briefings\; emergency procedures\; and
  firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate w
 ill receive an RSO Student Study Guide\, a Basic Firearm Training Program 
 brochure\, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure\, an Instructor Application/Co
 urse Evaluation form.\n\nNRA Range Safety Officers possess the knowledge\,
  skills\, and attitude essential to organizing\, conducting\, and supervis
 ing safe shooting activities and range operations indoors and outdoors.\n\
 nThe NRA developed its program in response to the demand for a nationally-
 recognized Range Safety Officer ("RSO") certification. Our class and the c
 ertification will be especially valuable to firearms instructors.\n\nWe wi
 ll not be breaking for supper.  Please bring a sandwich or eat before you
  come.\n\nThere are no prerequisites for this course.  All materials will
  be provided.\n\nIf your registration is going to be paid as part of a gro
 up\, please select the option to "pay instructor directly" when registerin
 g.\n\nCredentialing Fees:\n\nFirst time Non NRA Member instructors\, Coach
 es\, and Range Safety Officers pay a flat credentialing fee of $60 for a 2
  year term. Additional ratings can be added at a rate of $30 per rating an
 d renewals are $60 for a 2 year term regardless of how many ratings are be
 ing renewed.\n\n** NRA Members credentialing fees are $35 for a 2 year ter
 m and additional ratings can be added at $15 per rating.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nRef
