SUMMARY:NRA Range Safety Officer
DESCRIPTION:\nThis course is approximately nine hours long and is conducted
  at the Town and Country Insurance office in Pierce\, Nebraska. Range Safe
 ty Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO\; Ra
 nge Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\; range inspection\; range rules\
 ; range briefings\; emergency procedures\; and firearm stoppages and malfu
 nctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student S
 tudy Guide\, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure\, an NRA Gun Safety
  Rules brochure\, an Instructor Application/Course Evaluation form.\n\nNRA
  Range Safety Officers possess the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude essen
 tial to organizing\, conducting\, and supervising safe shooting activities
  and range operations indoors and outdoors.\n\nThe NRA developed its progr
 am in response to the demand for a nationally-recognized Range Safety Offi
 cer ("RSO") certification. Our class and the certification should be espec
 ially valuable to firearms instructors.\n\nCredentialing Fees:\n\nFirst ti
 me Non NRA Member instructors\, Coaches\, and Range Safety Officers pay a 
 flat credentialing fee of $60 for a 2 year term. Additional ratings can be
  added at a rate of $30 per rating and renewals are $60 for a 2 year term 
 regardless of how many ratings are being renewed.\n\n** NRA Members creden
 tialing fees are $35 for a 2 year term and additional ratings can be added
  at $15 per rating.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nRefund Policy
