SUMMARY:Sturgis Pistol Instructor Training
DESCRIPTION:\n	Our NRA Pistol Instructor Training course is designed to dev
 elop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge\, skills\, and at
 titude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course. Prior to
  attending this course you will need to complete the online portion of the
  NRA Basic Pistol Phase 1 so that you can complete&nbsp\;the Phase 2 porti
 on during this session. The Pistol Instructor Training begins with our NRA
  Basic Instructor Training class\, then the Basics of Pistol Shooting Phas
 e 2\, and then the Pistol Instructor Training. &nbsp\;These 3&nbsp\;classe
 s together form the required course for NRA Pistol Instructor certificatio
 n. (You are not considered an NRA Certified Instructor until the NRA Train
 ing Department processes your application and issues your instructor crede
 ntials.) &nbsp\;This includes the Basic Instructor Training (BIT)\,&nbsp\;
 the Student Basic Pistol Phase 2 and the Pistol Instructor Training&nbsp\;
 so no other courses will be required to obtain your NRA Pistol Instructor 
 Credentials after passing this course.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n	\n	NRA Pistol Instru
 ctor certification&nbsp\;is a requirement for becoming a Concealed&nbsp\;H
 andgun Permit (CHP) Instructor in many&nbsp\;states. Remember that the ind
 ividual states decide all matters relating to their CHP programs including
  whether\, when\, and to whom they issue Instructor certificates. You must
  apply directly to your state and meet their&nbsp\;requirements for certif
 ication as a&nbsp\;CHP instructor.\n\n\n\n	The Training Counselor (Dayle H
 ammock) for this course has been a Nebraska Concealed Carry instructor and
  a South Dakota Enhanced Carry instrustor&nbsp\;for several years so if yo
 u are taking this class to prepare for becoming a concealed carry instruct
 or you will be able to get many of your questions answered to&nbsp\;make t
 he journey much smoother.\n\n\n\n	This is a full weekend which includes th
 e Basic Instructor Training and the&nbsp\;Basic Pistol student course as w
 ell as the prequalification shooting drills and the actual instructor cour
 se. &nbsp\;\n\n\n\n	You will just need to bring your handgun and approxima
 tely 300 rounds&nbsp\;of ammo so you can demonstrate your ability to shoot
  to the standards required to be&nbsp\;an NRA instructor. &nbsp\;You will 
 be required to shoot 16 out of 20 rounds in&nbsp\;a&nbsp\;6&quot\; groups&
 nbsp\;on an 8&quot\; from 15 yards. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;You will be given severa
 l chances if you do not accomplish this the first time.\n\n\n\n	You can si
 gn&nbsp\;up by clicking&nbsp\;HERE\n\n\n\n	NOTICE: Due to a recent change 
 in the NRA Pistol Training course\, you will now be required to learn the 
 proceedure for offering the Blended Learning course so we recommend you co
 mplete the&nbsp\;online portion of the student course prior to attending t
 he instructor course. &nbsp\;You can do this at&nbsp\;https://www.nraonlin
 etraining.org/login/index.php&nbsp\;and it will cost $60 paid directly to 
 the NRA or you can purchase&nbsp\;a control code from the instructor&nbsp\
 ;for $25 and it&nbsp\;will be sent to you to enroll in the course online.&
 nbsp\; You will be assigned a PIN upon completion of the online course so 
 bring that with you. &nbsp\;(It will be printed on the certificate of comp
 letion)\n\n\n\n	The $300&nbsp\;includes the BIT\, the Phase 2 of the stude
 nt course\, and the Pistol Instructor training. &nbsp\;Classes start at 8:
