DESCRIPTION:Personal Protection In The Home (PPITH) takes you beyond the CH
 P and handgun basics to how you can protect yourself and your family in th
 e real world from home invasions and life-threatening intrusions. It's the
  second class in the NRA's Personal Protection sequence for civilians.\n\n
 When you complete our Personal Protection In The Home class you'll be well
  prepared to take the third step in the NRA's Personal Protection sequence
 : Personal Protection Outside The Home (Basic).\n\nThe goal of Personal Pr
 otection In The Home is to develop your basic knowledge\, skills\, and att
 itude essential to the safe and efficient use of a firearm for protectio
 n of yourself and your family in your home—and to provide you with knowl
 edge of your rights and responsibilities for self-defense as a law-abiding
  citizen at home.\n\nPlease bring a handgun\, holster\, at least 150 round
 s of ammo\, as well as eye and hearing protection.\n\nIf you are seeking t
 he NRA Instructor Course for this discipline\, please register for the ins
