DESCRIPTION:NRA Defensive Handgun\nInstructed by Justin Grusing\nThe NRA De
 fensive Pistol Course is conducted by a select group of NRA Advanced Pisto
 l Instructors. The training is objective based and will focus on the devel
 opment of a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to develop t
 he knowledge skills\, and attitude to carry and use a concealed pistol et
 hically\, responsibly\, and with confidence. The course is a follow-on cou
 rse to the NRA Basic Pistol course\, but can be taken after a short prequa
 l to verify you have a basic understanding of proper gun handling. The Neb
 raska Shooters Concealed Carry course is also an adequate pre-qualificatio
 n for this course. Upon successful completion of this training\, students 
 should know and be able to demonstrate a number of defensive pistol techni
 ques and shoot a timed qualification course of fire.\n\n\nIt is nothing li
 ke any of the other NRA pistol classes. For one thing\, there will be no w
 ritten quiz. This class is more of a mentoring class with lots of hands-on
  training\, drills and lots of shooting. We will keep the student to instr
 uctor ratio very low for this class so you will have plenty of instruction
 .\n\nYou will need to bring\n\n 	secure dominant-side holster\n 	a reliabl
 e center-fire handgun\n 	a minimum of 250 rounds and if you can bring more
 \, you may need them since only hits count\n 	eye and ear protection\n 	lu
 nch is provided\n\nThose who have not already completed their Basic Pistol
  or a Nebraska Shooters Concealed carry class will need to make arrangemen
 ts to come in prior to class and do a pre-course assessment.\n\nFor More D
