DESCRIPTION:NRA Defensive Handgun\nInstructed by Justin Grusing    \nThe 
 NRA Defensive Pistol Course is conducted by a select group of NRA Advanced
  Pistol Instructors. The training is objective based and will focus on the
  development of a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to dev
 elop the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude to carry and use a concealed p
 istol ethically\, responsibly\, and with confidence. The course is a follo
 w-on course to the NRA Basic Pistol course\, but can be taken after a shor
 t prequal to verify you have a basic understanding of proper gun handling.
  The Nebraska Shooters Concealed Carry course is also an adequate pre-qual
 ification for this course. Upon successful completion of this training\, s
 tudents should know and be able to demonstrate a number of defensive pisto
 l techniques and shoot a timed qualification course of fire.\n\n\nIt is no
 thing like any of the other NRA pistol classes. For one thing\, there will
  be no written quiz. This class is more of a mentoring class with lots of 
 hands-on training\, drills and lots of shooting. We will keep the student 
 to instructor ratio very low for this class so you will have plenty of ins
 truction.\n\nYou will need to bring\n\n 	secure dominant-side holster\n 	a
  reliable center-fire handgun\n 	a minimum of 250 rounds and if you can br
 ing more\, you may need them since only hits count\n 	eye and ear protecti
 on\n 	a sack lunch\n\nThose who have not already completed their Basic Pis
 tol or a Nebraska Shooters Concealed carry class will need to make arrange
 ments to come in prior to class and do a pre-course assessment.\n\nFor Mor
