SUMMARY:NRA Chief Range Safety Officer
DESCRIPTION:\n	This course is approximately nine hours long and is conducte
 d in a classroom and at a shooting facility. The CRSO class enables&nbsp\;
 you to conduct classes for RSO candidates.&nbsp\;This class includes the B
 asic Instructor Training section on Sunday morning and if you do nor curre
 ntly have your RSO certification\, you will need to come on Saturday and g
 et certified as an RSO.&nbsp\; You can get a discount on the RSO class if 
 you add it below when you sign up for the CRSO course.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Lunch 
 and materials are provided\,\n\n\n\n	Range Safety Officer candidates will 
 learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO\; Range Standard Operating Proc
 edures (SOPs)\; range inspection\; range rules\; range briefings\; emergen
 cy procedures\; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety 
 Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide\, a Basic Firear
 m Training Program brochure\, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure\, an Instru
 ctor Application/Course Evaluation form.\n\n\n\n	NRA Range Safety Officers
  possess the knowledge\, skills\, and attitude essential to organizing\, c
 onducting\, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations 
 indoors and outdoors.\n\n\n\n	The NRA developed its program in response to
  the demand for a nationally-recognized Range Safety Officer (&quot\;RSO&q
 uot\;) certification. Our class and the certification should be especially
  valuable to firearms instructors including CHP instructors.\n\n
