DESCRIPTION:NRA CCW Student Course\nThis class will cover the modules in th
 e NRA CCW program required for the Nebraska CHP curriculum\nDescription\n\
 n\n\n\nThe goal of the NRA Basic CCW Course is to teach the basic knowledg
 e\, skills\, and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for person
 al protection. NRA Basic CCW is a newly-developed curriculum that builds o
 n the fundamentals taught in the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course and 
 puts those skills into a defensive context for private citizens who carry 
 concealed handguns.  Since the NRA program is modular\, we will be coveri
 ng only the required modules to meet the Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit
  training requirements.  If you'd like to get the full NRA CCW program wh
 ich is required to become an NRA CCW Instructor\, please plan to attend th
 e extra modules in the evening.\n\n\n\nNRA CCW\n\n\nAfter a review of safe
 ty rules and basic marksmanship\, we will hit the range and work on drawin
 g a handgun from concealment\, reloading\, malfunction clearing\, and much
  more. This course is eight hours in length\, with a significant portion o
 f the class spent on the range.\n\nStudents will need a quality defensive 
 handgun\, a dominant-side holster and belt\, a concealment garment\, and a
  minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition. Please contact us for questions abou
 t equipment requirements.\n\nThis course was featured in an article in the
  American Rifleman magazine if you’d like to read more.\n\nThis course 
 meets the requirements to obtain your Nebraska Concealed Handgun permit. 
  You will receive 2 certificates upon successful completion.  An NRA CCW 
 certificate and a Nebraska CHP certificate.  The NRA certificate will be 
 dependent on passing a higher standard of shooting and a second examinatio
 n.\n\nIt is not necessary to be an NRA member to take this course.\n\nSucc
 essful completion of this course is a prerequisite to attending the NRA Ba
 sic CCW Instructor Certification Course.\n\n\n\n
