DESCRIPTION:Short Description: This course teaches the basic knowledge\, s
 kills\, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting 
 a moving target.\n\nMore Details: This is an all day course and includes c
 lassroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. 
 Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling\; shotgun parts and ope
 ration\; shotgun shell components\; shotgun shell malfunctions\; shooting 
 fundamentals\; range rules\; shooting at straight away and angled targets\
 ; cleaning\; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students w
 ill receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook\, NRA Gun Safety Rules
  brochure\, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet\, take a Bas
 ics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination\, and receive a course complet
 ion certificate.\n\nHere are some of the the lessons in an NRA Shotgun Tra

 es"\n\nPlease bring a shotgun and at least 100 rounds of birdshot ammo (#7
 \, #7 1/2\, or #8 is fine) as well as eye and hearing protection.\n\nIf yo
 u are seeking an instructor credential you will need to make sure you get 
 your Basic Instructor Training from one of the previous courses within the
  previous two years. We will not be offering a BIT with this class.\n\nAny
 one traveling from out of town is welcome to stay in the bunkhouse free of
