Situational Awareness & Aspects of Fighting Handgun
Presented by Sam Rosenberg and Norman Hood
This is a rare opportunity to work with two amazing instructors to learn a broad spectrum of life-saving skills.
Sam Rosenberg will be teaching his Situational Awareness material on Saturday and Sunday Mornings and Norm Hood will take you to the range in the afternoon. You can optionally, only attend the Situational Awareness portion if you are not ready for a handgun class.
What You Will Learn
Sam will be offering a condensed version of the full two-day course he was offering in March which includes firearm retention and take-aways and a solid education on situational awareness and reading your environment. (More details to come)
Norm will be presenting Aspects of Fighting Handgun, which will tie in perfectly with the information Sam offers in the mornings.
Required Equipment for Handgun portion:
- A modern, serviceable, firearm
- 3 magazines or more
- Optics if desired
- Ear and eye protection
- Sturdy shoes
- Long pants
- Shirt with higher collar
- Ammunition: 250 rounds factory fresh ammo only. NO RELOADS or specialty ammo (steel core or amour piercing)
- Extra magazine carrier
- Comfortable clothing
- Kneepads (optional but recommended)
- Hydration system or bottled water
- Baseball cap
Students need no prior training in shooting to attend this course.
