DESCRIPTION:A person experiencing major blood loss from a gunshot wound has
  approximately 3 minutes left to live. Don't be helpless—learn techniq
 ues anyone can use to buy the precious time needed until EMS arrives. No p
 rior first aid or medical training is needed! In this course you will see:
 \n\n 	Live instruction from our first-aid instructors\;\n 	Hands-on demons
 trations with a course certification\;\n 	How to treat a gunshot wound to 
 the arm\, leg\, chest\, abdomen\, head\, and neck\; and\n 	How to control 
 shock and place a victim into a safe position until EMS arrives\n\nThis co
 urse was developed by Rick Hammesfahr\, M.D.\, former chairman of the Curr
 iculum and Examination Board (CEB) for the United States Special Operation
 s Command. Under his guidance\, the CEB developed Tactical Medical Emergen
 cy protocols and techniques currently being used on the battlefield today.
