DESCRIPTION:The NRA changed the way the Basic Pistol class is conducted  a
 nd after May 15\, 2018 all Basic Pistol Students will be have the option t
 o complete the Basic Pistol Level I online at nraonlinetraining.org prior 
 to completing the program with a certified instructor.  This is a blended
  learning program similar to many of the other programs out there that hav
 e been very successful.  This will allow you to complete the "classroom" 
 portion at your convenience on your schedule.  It is recommended that you
  allow yourself at least 8 hours to complete the course and you should pla
 n on taking a break about every hour for maximum retention.  The code to 
 begin your online course is included in this price.  Otherwise\, the onli
 ne course will cost $60 through the NRA.\n\nUpon completion of the online 
 course we will be notified that you are ready to proceed.  During the Lev
 el II portion we will review the safety rules and shooting fundamentals yo
 u learned in the online portion and then we will proceed to conduct the pr
 actical portion of the course.  After some practice\, you will be given a
 n opportunity to qualify as a Red\, White\, Blue\, or Instructor Level gra
 duate.  Since it is objective based\, we will proceed until we are done o
 r until it is too late.  If we do not complete the course in the time all
 otted\, you will be able to come to the next scheduled Level II course and
  complete the required shooting.\n\nThis is a new program and we are excit
 ed to be able to offer it to the new shooters who are wanting to start out
  with a great foundation to build upon.  If you have any questions about

 f you prefer to take the instructor led course\, we have one offered on th
 e evenings of 8/30/18 and 8/31/18.
