DESCRIPTION:NRA BASIC PISTOL (PHASE 2)\nThe NRA changed the way the Basic P
 istol class is conducted over the past couple of years Basic Pistol Studen
 ts now have the option to complete the Basic Pistol Level I online at nrao
 nlinetraining.org prior to completing the program with a certified instruc
 tor.  This is a blended learning program similar to many of the other pro
 grams out there that have been very successful.  This will allow you to c
 omplete the "classroom" portion at your convenience on your schedule.  It
  is recommended that you allow yourself at least 8 hours to complete the c
 ourse and you should plan on taking a break about every hour for maximum r
 etention.  The code to begin the online course (Phase 1) will be sent whe
 n you register for the Phase 2 session.\n\nUpon completion of the online c
 ourse we will be notified that you are ready to proceed.  During the Leve
 l 2 portion we will review the safety rules and shooting fundamentals you 
 learned in the online portion and then we will proceed to conduct the prac
 tical portion of the course.  We will be shooting from the bench rest and
  the standing position and after some practice\, you will be given an oppo
 rtunity to qualify as a Red\, White\, or Blue graduate.   If we do not c
 omplete the course in the time allotted\, you will be able to come to the 
 next scheduled Phase 2 course and complete the required shooting at no ext
 ra charge.\n\nThis is a new program and we are excited to be able to offer
  it to the new shooters who are wanting to start out with a great foundati
