DESCRIPTION:NRA BASIC PISTOL (PHASE 2)\nThe NRA changed the way the Basic P
 istol class is conducted over the past couple of years. Basic Pistol Stude
 nts now have the option to complete the Basic Pistol Phase I online at nra
 onlinetraining.org prior to completing the program with a certified instru
 ctor.  This is a blended learning program similar to many of the other pr
 ograms out there that have been very successful.  This will allow you to 
 complete the "classroom" portion at your convenience on your schedule.  I
 t is recommended that you allow yourself at least 8 hours to complete the 
 course and you should plan on taking a break about every hour for maximum 
 retention.  The code to begin the online course will be sent when you reg
 ister for the Phase 2 session.\n\nUpon completion of the online course we 
 will be notified that you are ready to proceed.  During the Phase 2 porti
 on we will review the safety rules and shooting fundamentals you learned i
 n the online portion and then we will proceed to conduct the practical por
 tion of the course.  We will be shooting from the bench rest and the stan
 ding position and after some practice\, you will be given an opportunity t
 o qualify as a Level 1\, 2\, 3\, or 4 graduate.\n\nYou can purchase your c
 ode directly from the NRA website for $60 or you can add it when you regis
 ter for the Phase two for an additional $25.
