Advanced Pistol Class II builds on the skills learned in the Advanced Pistol class. All attendees should have passed the Advanced Pistol class. All participants will be required to provide photo ID prior to starting the class. All participants will be required to pass a pistol qualification course to pass the class.
Course Description: As the shooters skills advance, their desire to learn more, continues to grow. The skills needed to defend yourself or a loved one grows as the shooter develops movement skills, and cognitive shooting skills to make the right decisions when the time arises. Our 2-Day Advanced Pistol Course II gives you additional shooting techniques as well as an exposure to shooting in close quarter situations.
Advanced Pistol Class II is an intense 2-day firearms training course that focuses on tactical movement, rapid target acquisition, and continues to develops the student’s skills in immediate action drills, rapid reloading, tactical reloading, as we incorporate building/room clearing techniques, vehicle techniques, and Close Quarter/contact shooting to the advanced shooting skills. Skills will be developed in both a classroom setting and while on the range using dynamic actions with a semi-automatic pistol.
Students will be instructed in situational awareness drills as well as tactical pistol skills that will enable them to quickly and efficiently engage targets from the prone and supine positions, kneeling, clear rooms, engage with both strong and weak hand from behind barricades all while moving effectively while performing multiple complex tasks.
Because of the level of skill that is needed to develop and learn these skills, students should realize that this is a fast paced and physically demanding firearms training course! Students will be required to move, turn, pivot, kneel, and move from both a prone and supine position. Students should arrive for class in good physical condition, have reliable equipment that they are familiar with and have solid marksmanship/pistol handling skills established prior to attending this firearms training course.

The following firearms training topics will be covered:
Review the tactical stance and the fundamentals of tactical movement
Rapid Sight/target acquisition while on the move
Contact and Close Quarter High Speed Target Engagement Exercises
Room clearing techniques
Multiple Targets – while both Static and moving
Close Quarter Evaluation Exercise / Skill
Vehicle engagement techniques

Strong hand only shooting, one hand pistol immediate action and reload drills.
5 stages of the draw and the presentation of the pistol from the holster
Close quarter and ground fighting skills.
Firearm retention.
Engaging targets while withdrawing and moving laterally.
Engaging targets from static position turns and pivots.
Engaging multiple targets from behind barricades while standing and kneeling.
Course duration: 2 days (Total of 16 hours)
Student recommended equipment: Note pad & pen, eye protection, ear protection, baseball type cap, heavy pants, belt, retention holster and magazine carriers, personal defense pistol with at least the capability of at 3 magazines.
The weapon must be reliable and functional, factory-installed safety devices intact, and have no modifications that could affect the safety of the shooter or others.
Holsters must be on the belt, correctly fit the weapon, completely cover the trigger guard, remain open when the weapon is removed, not allow the weapon to cover the shooter’s body, and not have a trigger guard retention device, thigh rigs, cross-draw, etc.
Knee pads are recommended, but not required.
No live ammunition will be allowed in the classroom.
No firearms will be allowed into the classroom, until they have been inspected, chamber flagged, and identified as safe. All firearms will again be inspected prior to any drills that take place in the classroom.

Ammunition requirements: 500 rounds (minimum)
