Course Description
The Advanced Defensive Pistol course is the perfect follow-up to the NRA Defensive Pistol Course or for the veteran concealed carry person who needs to sharpen their skills. We will focus on developing the Knowledge Skills and Attitude required to survive a conflict when using your handgun for self defense. This is set up to be an intense 4-6 hours of shooting with multiple drills which compliment all of the things covered in the other NRA handgun courses. This is not an NRA course, but it will be taught by NRA instructors with adherence to the NRA philosophies.
Some of the skills we will concentrate on in this course are:
- Shooting and moving
- Close Quarters Defense
- Shoot 'til down drill
- Assessing multiple threats and engaging
- One-Handed shooting
- Accuracy Drills
You will need to bring a reliable side arm, a quality concealed carry holster, 300 rounds of ammunition, eye and hearing protection.
This will be a fun day at the range! Even more fun than most!
