Personal Protection Outside The Home Instructor Course requires that you are a certified Basic Pistol instructor , Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor, and have completed the Personal Protection outside the Home Student Course with the advanced modules which is being offered the day before. You can save $50 on the PPOTH course if you sign up for both from this page.
This course is designed to develop the Knowledge Skills and Attitude to properly organize and teach a Personal Protection Outside the Home course.
Class schedule:
11-7-25 at 5pm PPOTH student course begins ending approximately 10pm
11-8-25 at 8am PPOTH student course continues ending approximately 5pm
11-8-25 at 6pm PPOTH instructor course begins ending approximately 10pm
11-9-25 at 8am PPOTH instructor course continues ending approximately 7pm
MEALS PROVIDED: Friday supper, Saturday lunch and supper, Sunday lunch. If you have dietary restrictions, please contact us a minimum of 3 days ahead of class.
The student class requires a minimum of 250 rounds. You will need at least an additional 100 rounds of ammo for the Instructor portion of the PPOTH course as well as your handgun, holster, and at least 2 magazines. Candidates must score 90% or better on the written test and participate in all of the classroom and range exercises demonstrating safe gun handling and a good attitude. There is no shooting qualification for the PPOTH Instructor course.
