Rifle

This course provides the student with a solid foundation in basic knowledge of carbine safety, several types of carbines, shooting fundamentals and an introduction to defensive shooting skills.
Required Equipment:
- A modern, serviceable, sighted in semi-auto carbine (AR, AK, Mini-14, M1 carbine, MI SOCOM 16)
- Sling (any type) mounted on rifle
- 3 magazines
- Optics if desired
- Ear and eye protection
- Sturdy shoes
- Long pants
- Shirt with higher collar
- Ammunition: 100 rounds factory fresh ammo only. NO RELOADS or specialty ammo (steel core or amour piercing)
- Magazine carriers (for both rifle and handgun magazines)
- Comfortable clothing
- Kneepads (optional but recommended)
- Hydration system or bottled water
- Baseball cap
