Tim grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and he attended college at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska where he competed on their college basketball team. Following graduation Tim joined the coaching staff at Grace as an assistant coach on the men’s basketball team where he began honing his teaching and instructing skills. Tim completed his collegiate studies by earning a Masters degree in Business Management from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Tim enjoys leading the sound team and running the sound board at his local church, and he volunteers regularly on the security team. Today, Tim serves as a Fleet Manager at his father’s business where he’s responsible for overseeing the mileage reimbursement and the driver training programs for the company’s drivers.
Tim’s interest in firearm training began in October 2020 when he took his first training course (MAG40) with Massad Ayoob hosted at Nebraska Shooters, and soon after, Tim took an NRA Range Safety Officer class with Nebraska Shooters. Tim continues to train at Nebraska Shooters on a regular basis with Skills and Drills, bullseye practice, Friday Night Fun Shoots, and taking classes from well-known trainers that visit Nebraska Shooters. He has earned NRA Instructor certifications in pistol, shotgun, and rifle. He is an excellent shooter, and he has been working towards becoming a red dot instructor.
