Personal Protection Outside The Home Instructor Course requires that you are a certified Basic Pistol instructor , Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor, and have completed the Personal Protection outside the Home Student Course with the advanced modules which is being offered the day before. You can save $50 on the PPOTH course if you sign up for both from this page.
This course is designed to develop the Knowledge Skills and Attitude to properly organize and teach a Personal Protection Outside the Home course.
You will need at least an additional 100 rounds of ammo for the Instructor portion of the PPOTH course as well as your handgun and holster. Candidates must score 90% or better on the written test and participate in all of the classroom and range exercises demonstrating safe gun handling and a good attitude. There is no shooting qualification for the PPOTH Instructor course.
