All deer hunters know that fellow hunter who can spot a deer a mile away buried deep in the woods and no matter how hard you look you cannot find it. I read an article a while back about training your eyes to pick out the colors and shapes of a deer in the wild. The author recommended hanging pictures of deer in their natural environment around your house and office and every day practicing picking the deer out of the picture so your brain can easily pick up on a real deer when the time comes.
